FAQS

Do you accept insurance?

SpeechWorks is a private pay only company. We can provide a bill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

What are your rates?

The cost of therapy varies based on time and frequency of treatment. Group parent training classes also have a different fee. I don’t want you to choose me based on my rate, but rather my skills and expertise. Set up a free consultation where we can discuss your concerns, I can meet you and your child, and make a treatment plan that will fit your finances.

Do you provide in home therapy?

Yes! Sessions can take place in my home office, or in your own home. I love to do therapy in a home setting because it increases generalization and makes kids feel more comfortable. There is a milage charge that will be added to your regular therapy fee for sessions that take place in your home.

Where are you located?

My boutique-style office is located in my home in Layton, Utah. Many children are nervous to interact in a sterile office with bright lights. My home office feels like a play date at a friends house and not a visit with a doctor! When you come for an appointment, you can let yourself in and come down the stairs to the client waiting area. There you will find comfortable seating, a restroom, and some toys for your child or children to play with. When it’s your time to be seen, you will be ushered in to the therapy room.

Angie is amazing at what she does! My son is 7 years old and has come so far with Angie in just a few short months. We feel so lucky to have found her!

As a brand new mother I had a lot of fears when my son was behind in his speech. Angie put me at ease and I'm so grateful for that. She worked with my son, but most importantly she taught me and gave me tools to assist him.

Finding Speech Works was such a blessing! I was at a loss of what to do to help my son improve his many speech problems. I am amazed at the progress my son made in a year working with Angie.

My sweet little boy was behind in speech and it broke my heart. We had tried multiple people to help him and nothing was clicking. I had tried everything to try and work with him at home and he would just shut down. Then we started going to Angie and things changed!!! He was picking up sounds he had never been able to make, he was trying his hardest to finish words and not leave syllables out, and he was gaining confidence in social situations. Angie has a real talent of engaging kids in fun activities and they don’t even know they are working on their speech. My son couldn’t wait to go to speech and would wait for Tuesday’s to roll around so he could go see his friend. I can’t say enough good things about Angie and I would recommend her to everyone. She truly loves the kids she works with and builds a bond with them. We love Angie and credit our sons success and love for learning and going to speech to angie.
